The FKG Group was engaged to complete the design and construction of a comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the Downs Hotel in Drayton, Toowoomba. The refurbishment, which required major structural changes, was specifically designed to create larger open areas and effectively increase functionality of available space.
Works included the removal of asbestos from the existing building, demolition works, removal of existing amenities to enable an extension of the dining room, the refurbishment of a private function room, and construction of a children’s play area.
