Bradnam's Windows and Doors Development

To support the continued growth of their business, Bradnam’s Windows and Doors engaged the FKG Group Developments team to deliver a new workshop, showroom and office facility. The Development scope involved the client purchasing a site within the FKG Group’s AATLIS Precinct, liaising with regulatory bodies and consultants on behalf of the client, obtaining statutory approvals, completing the detailed design of the facility, and overseeing the construction, for which GFG Projects was engaged to complete.

Upon engagement, the client expressed their desire to secure a site that would not only meet the day-to-day operational requirements of their business, but provide convenient access for customers, elevate their brand and provide future growth opportunities. The final selected site features direct street frontage to the Warrego Highway – providing a high level of brand exposure and easy access for customers; along with ample room, which has allowed Bradnam’s to incorporate an extensive showroom to showcase their range of products, office facilities, as well as a workshop which features a gantry crane, large open workspace, and a wide external awning for the loading and unloading of trucks.

Due to the expiry of their existing tenancy, the client was under pressure to relocate and re-establish themselves at their new facility by May 2023. As the FKG Group owned the new selected site, site preparation was able to commence early – allowing the start date for construction to be brought forward. This, combined with the FKG Group Developments team overseeing all elements of the project, allowed for an accelerated program, which saw practical completion reached in mid-April, 2023.

Throughout the duration of the project, the client benefited from having one single point of contact and communication, streamlining the development process and allowing them to take advantage of our unique blend of inhouse development, design and project management specialists to successfully manage each step on their behalf.
