The FKG Group was engaged by BP Australia to design and construct a highway service centre on a 6.4-hectare site located on the Pacific Motorway and Bruxner Highway in West Ballina. The FKG Group was also responsible for obtaining the Development Approval and all other relevant approvals from local council for construction on site.
The Service Centre was built to suit the needs of the interstate haulage and the local community and includes a 24-hour petrol station with ample room for both cars and large trucks, a Wild Bean cafe, fast food outlets, a playground and truckers amenities, complete with kitchen area, showers, washing machines, a television, and other convenience amenities.
