Baringa State Secondary College (Caloundra South)

The FKG Group was engaged by the Department of Education to undertake the development of a new state high school in Caloundra South. The work included design and construct of single, two and three storey buildings with a new car park, oval, and link roads.

The design team worked with DoE and the Principal to tailor the GLAs to address specific learning outcomes.  DoE and FKG worked together to design and construct specialist fitouts of some learning areas including Hospitality Centres, Food Stores, Equipment Stores, Scullery, Robotics, Design Studios and Project Development rooms.

The project was completed on time and budget with an excellent relationship with the client.  The school was handed over prior to the commencement of the 2021 school year, maintaining FKG’s strong reputation with DoE.
