The FKG Group undertook the design and construction of a four-storey, 12-unit residential apartment building situated in Auchenflower in the heart of Brisbane. Project works included blockwork, concrete structures, elevator installation, hydraulic and mechanical services, carpentry and joinery, and the installation of utilities such as phone, data and power. The FKG Group incorporated lightweight, durable, fibre composite facade treatments, to deliver a modern construction finish.
As construction took place in a densely populated residential area, bound on all three sides by other apartment buildings, it was important that the FKG Group worked to actively suppress noise and dust to minimise the impact on surrounding residents.
