The FKG Group has earnt five accolades at the 2015 Downs and Western region, Queensland Master Builders Awards held in Toowoomba recently.
The FKG Group won Project of the Year for the Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport Terminal Project, which also secured a win in the Tourism Facilities over $5 million category.
Highfields State Secondary School received a win for the Education Facilities over $5 million category, with the Toowoomba Grammar School Boarding House Stage one project taking out the Education Facilities up to $5 million category. The Crowe Horwath Refurbishment took out the Refurbishment/Renovation up to $5 million category.

The award wins are a testament to our project team’s commitment to going above and beyond to deliver outstanding projects by working in collaboration with clients. Our teams have remained dedicated to careful planning, detailed safety management and continuous communication between stakeholders which has transpired into quality project outcomes; providing lasting legacies for the community.”
Key achievements across the projects included; working in operational environments, managing sensitive surrounding communities and delivering within short construction time frames – with all teams achieving exceptional levels of workmanship.
The FKG Group will now progress through to the State Awards which will be held on Friday 9th October 2015 at Brisbane City Hall.
