The FKG Group was engaged by Nexus Delivery to construct the Warrego Highway and Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Road intersections for the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.
The scope of works included upgrading 930 metres of Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Road and 1,127 metres of the Warrego Highway, along with the provision of entry and exit points to the toll road for each upgraded road section. Project works included the construction of drainage structures, installation of lighting and traffic lights, and the construction of five signalised intersections.
The FKG Group’s outstanding record with challenging traffic management environments and successful implementation of traffic management plans assisted in the award of this contract.
